So I began 2009 with the goal of producing an EP-length album by the summertime or, perhaps, within the year’s end. A number of unexpected twists have delayed my recording ambitions for the time being, although I continue to write new songs and make assurances to friends and family that, sure enough, there will be an album some day! In times like these, it seems we like to blame everything on the economy… it might be stretch in this case, but sure, why not?
While recording has been delayed, I have raised my expectations for the first album and hope to produce 10-12 tracks at this point. I’ll probably post each song as it comes, so stay tuned for previews!
In the meantime, I have released the sheetmusic to an old favorite of mine – my fellow pianists out there can now download a PDF file of Finger Painting and learn to play it at home! If you have the means to play it and record it, send me a copy! I’d love to hear your interpretation! I have been meaning to rerecord it myself, though (since my music to-do list grows daily) I can’t promise anything right now…

Can’t wait for the album! The music sounds great. I would love to be able to play Finger Painting but this economy has left me without a piano in my possession.
